Leak detection

Buildings leaks are often very difficult to identify and even where leakage is apparent its source can often be far away. Leaks invariably disappear when investigated and may often require specialist training and equipment specifically designed for leak detection. Temperature and even atmospheric pressure can completely change the leak profile or totally mislead the investigator as can construction detail which can be used for leaks to travel to areas far away from origination. Leak detection can incorporate water, heat, sound and air and these faults require different solutions if unnecessary demolition is to be avoided.
